October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October has been set aside as a month to remember domestic violence victims, to learn about domestic violence, and to show your support. Please watch for meetings and vigils in your area and please attend. You can also wear a purple ribbon to show your support or if you have a blog or website you can post a purple ribbon. Remember, domestic violence can happen to anyone, maybe even someone you know.
