divorcing abusive cop, scared, no help from courts why?

i cannot understand why courts will not help when a woman comes forward about their situation. They are already living in fear & then go to get help & there is noone one there to help. They say they will,but always step backward,because they dont want the policeofficer to lose their job.. What about the families of these men?Why wont they help before there is a possible violent crime commited? Im one of those women & Im wondering if there will ever be any help out there for someone like me and children.

I don't even know what to say that will ease your fears and calm your pain. I know that there are caring people with hearts on this site that may have the resources to help you.

At least I hope someone can step up here and offer you some advice.

thank u,for ur kind words,im trying to leave and courts are trying to stop me,lost my attorney she was also threatening me. its within days im supposed to relocate.I think its time to talk to media maybe,i dont know

the brotherhood still exsists and it is scary because even though they know this officer did something wrong they still back him.

finally ran to another state but cant start my life over..dnt want him to find me cant get drivers license or any thing with my name and address he will find me and hurt me badly>>>thank you for your reply sorry it took so long...i have been running
