I am looking into starting a blog to help support my web site, I have never looked into publishing to a blog and there are lots to choose from.

I know that is a lot to do with personal preference and style, but why did you choose your blog provider ?

and what are the best to look into?

Thanks

Ryan

Well I'm sure I'm in a minority here but I use blogger. I chose that because it's fairly easy to understand. At first I had no idea what the hell I was doing and in many ways I still don't, but I'm getting more and more used to it.

I know most people would probably prefer wordpress, and I have a feeling most of them are, but what do I know?

Here's a nice little link I found that could help you:

I've used Blogger, and still do for one of my blogs. I like it a lot. I do find WordPress has more flexibility and features, at least for me. MovableType is also very nice.

Lilo,

When you pointed the perverted primates blog to the domain...did you just use the forwarding feature via blogger? Or did you have to go into your domain hosting account and change dns setting and such?

I am having a HELL of a time, trying to figure this out over the past few days.

I know there are two ways of doing it, I am just trying to figure out what the difference is.
