Mothers are Vanishing
When I followed the Scott Peterson case I was drawn to the fact that this man showed no emotion before and after his trial. His eyes were "dead" and hollow and he kept that blank look that was there from the beginning when Laci Peterson and her unborn child, Conor, first went missing. What was he thinking? What was behind that blank facade? How could he just go on living like nothin…

Maybe we can all learn some lessons from this case. Had we not all banded together and put pressure on and given this little girl exposure, would the results have been the same?
Maybe we can save the world one little girl at a time!

Christina Calayca has one of the widest, happiest smiles I have ever seen along with a twinkle in her eye that makes her whole face sparkle with life.

Christina was not a rugged outdoors type person according to family members and it is a mystery to them that she would be jogging at…

Becca died while awaiting trial for being sexually assaulted by her ex-step-father/cop Bob Ingle. Becca was 8 when the abuse started, she died at age 11. The crime was reported in 2006. She went before the Grand Jury twice. The case against the alleged sex criminal may be in jeopardy because a little girl died in a traffic crash.
IMHO The defense is using legal loop holes, tricks and victory by delay. Siting the Crawford vs. Washington law, which states the perpetrator has the right to cross ex…

It has come to my attention that Hurricane Ike has done extensive damage to Texas Equusearch. Many of the team members' homes are destroyed, including the horse barn and hay for the horses that so selflessly search for missing loved ones.
Tim Miller has given so much over the years to the "community" of missing persons. If you don't know his story, please go the the website and read about his own losses.
The Texas Equusearch team can not do the job they have been called to do because of this d…

Three powerful, experienced women have joined forces to give a voice to victims of crime that have been silenced for various reasons. Victims advocate, Susan Murphy Milano, former detective and author, Stacy Dittrich, and prosecutor Robin sax are combining their talents to help investigate crimes and get answers for those that need them.
Each of these women brings a different perspective and insight to the business of crime. I am copying a brief biography of each from the blog and you will see…

Internet Petitions...a Waste of Time?
snopes.com: Internet Petitions
Posted using ShareThis
Best intentions aside, seems like studies have shown that online petitions actually aren't all that productive. Yet, all hope is not lost. Project Jason has a wonderful task for all of us, to help implement an essential bill to aid many loved one's missing persons. And with the way they have it set-up, it's just as easy as signing an online petition, yet the impact i…

It has been many years since there has been any public information about the disappearance of Alice Donovan, although her family, especially her two lovely daughters, still have the ultimate unanswered question...Where is she?
Even though the two murderers have been convicted and sit on death row, they refuse to be specific and tell this family where they so callously left her. What kind of evil can perpetuate something as uncaring as these two individuals?
The words below are from Alice's daug…

I would personally like to thank everyone who lit a candle for Lisa Hatchell today. If you haven't had a chance to do so, here is the link to her candle site.
http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l=eng&gi=LisaH
No matter what goes on anywhere on this internet, the candle sites bring it all home to each of us. For Stacy, Kathleen, Lisa, Lilly, any of those that are in our hearts and need our help. It is a place that we all come together, with no argument or bashing, and give the…

Lisa Hatchell's birthday is July 19. It also marks the 5 year anniversary of being missing. She has 2 small children and a grieving mother who need answers. Once again I am enlisting the help of all of you here to give up just a few minutes and make a phone call, write an email, hit up a friend in high places. I know a lot of you know people who can bring awareness to subjects that have just smoldered on the back burner of the internet and bring it to the main stream. Please lend your hand and m…

Once again it is time to mobilize.
There has been new evidence uncovered that may be able to bring Lilly home to her family and friends and give answers to them.
Once again, MDPD has been dragging their feet. They have been informed that the area you will see in the above pictures may be where the remains of Lilly Aramburo lie and they have not made any arrangements to conduct a search of the land.
Let's all unite our efforts to bring Lilly home.…

One of the most important proactive thing everyone can do is make sure that your own government officials are voting yes on this Act.
This will allow non profit groups who offer support in searching for missing adults grants in order to carry out their services, along with many other things.
The family of Kristen Modaferri and founders of NCMA along with NCRep. Sue Myrick have introduced this bill to Congress. It has not yet been approved. We need to make our voices heard very loudly in order…

Viridiana Maldonado was a young mother. She had her first child at age 15 or 16. She married and had another child four years later. Her husband, Jorge, was in the Army stationed at Ft. Lewis near Tacoma, WA.
According to news accounts they had trouble in their marriage which led "Viri" to take out an Order of Protection against Jorge. Apparently she had had enough and moved back to her family in North Charleston, SC with her 2 children, leaving Jorge in WA.
She lived with her mother and siste…
