TAYLOR'S PLEA TO PRESIDENT AND MICHELE OBAMA
This speech was performed on April 26, 2009, in New York during a child abuse awareness rally. It is a nice thing to get together and rally but at the end of the day when it is brought to your attention that a child is or has been abused and we choose to do nothing, well, shame on all of us who choose that route. Crime Bloggers exist to bring attention to crimes but more is needed in the way of movement. You not only in this case get a chance to hear what has been allegedly done to Taylor but you also get to see the evidence supporting what she says happened to her. You also get a chance to read about a crime committed by those sworn to protect and serve. This is allowed to continue because we continue to want to wait until after the death or abduction of a child to be outraged. Be outraged before this child succumbs to her "alleged" abuse.
