Lucely "Lilly" Aramburo, Presents for her Palden?

Presents for Palden at the One Year Anniversary Lilly Aramburo Vigil, June 1, 2008...

Wouldn't it be great to be able to have something special for Lucely and Palden to be given to them at/or around the time of Lilly's One Year Missing Vigil?

Something that recognizes how difficult not only emotionally, but financially as well, things are for them. In case you're not familar, Lucely makes her living selling flowers on the street, which as you can probably imagine does not provide a large income to begin with and now also add to that what she's been going through the last year since her Lilly vanished.

Lucely is self-employed, thus when she doesn't work, she doesn't make money, no sick days income, no understanding that her daughter disappeared off the face of the earth and now she, the Grandma is the full time caregiver of little Palden. And, as you may have guessed by now, no help from Miami as well.

So...okay! I'll admit it, Palden already has me wrapped around his little finger! However, I'd like to point out that this doens't mean I'm weak or some kind of pushover, it's just that...aw, did you see those curls? And his huge brown eyes and perfect little Angelina Jolie lips?! What a living little doll!

I'd love to be able to send the little angel something, love for he and Lucely to have some concrete "evidence" that we are real, not just some made up thing on the internet. lol So, if you'd like to donate/gift/etc. as well, please add on your thoughts of what they might need...if you are interested in sending them something, please PM and/or email and/or call me and I'll give you the address to send it to...

Here are some ideas, what else do you think might help them out, make the next year at least a little be easier for them?

1. Lucely drives a very old van, but it still works...(so maybe gas cards?)

2. Things for Palden...I do know that he LOVES to draw...and loves music...

3. Perhaps a gift certificate to a local market where she might do her grocery shopping?

4. Some kind of maybe, Bath & Body set gift, just because...

5. Really nice books for Palden would be great, don't you think?

6. I know she lives in a trailer park...so if that makes you think of something, that too...

7. Their primary language is Spanish, maybe some kind of English learning toy, a toy that combines the English and Spanish language?

8. Since Palden often joins Lucely at work selling flowers, maybe something entertaining, helpful pertaining to that?

9. NO FLOWERS...LOL...I was going to send her some for Mother's Day until Janet kindly reminded me that selling flowers was her full time job. = )

(Palden...size 2T/3T, shoe size 6.5/7...light weight things, I doubt it hardly ever cools off much there, right?)
